About Us
If you can’t find us at the wine bar & shop chances are we’re searching for new ingredients at a local farm or visiting with a small-production winery looking for rare gems. A shared passion for pairing artisan food and wine drew us – Kyle Snyder, Rebecca Thomas Snyder and Matt Thomas – together to combine our talents and introduce our guests to one of the most creative, enjoyable and delicious wine bar experiences in the U.S.
Recognizing the need for a wine retailer in downtown Fredericksburg, kybecca began, in 2005, as an impressive, eclectic wine shop that was instantly successful. kybecca then evolved into a full-service wine bar and outdoor café that launched in November 2008.
Housed in the town’s original general store, kybecca incorporates historic architectural details with beautiful furniture and original décor created by Kyle. From the innovative poured concrete bar to the painstaking restoration of the original tin ceilings, wood floors and original arched doorway (that now leads into the retail store) kybecca is a work of art. The space incorporates the old with the new for a fresh take on a historic property.
