Kyle’s Bio

Kyle Snyder ~ co-founder, executive chef, general contractor, and much more

My grandparents, Wesley Forest Anderson and Glades Irene Anderson are my greatest inspirations in most things that I’ve done and will continue to do. My grandfather had a “can do” attitude that was infused in all that he did. An electrician by trade, he would continually take on new challenges and figure out how to make them successful. My grandmother had a love for traditional, simple food. They had a way of making everyone feel special. That’s what kybecca is about, too.

No matter how many people showed up for a meal at my grandparents’ home there was always enough food and it was always delicious. I spent many wonderful summers working in their vegetable garden. There I learned an appreciation and passion for super fresh food prepared in a delicious and simple manner. Those were very good days!

Through kybecca, I’ve been able to leverage my areas of expertise and passions. I help bring the garden to the table for others to enjoy. And my experiences in technology, as an electrician, and as a craftsman led to kybecca’s unique and high-quality furniture, fixtures and design elements that my labor and skill made affordable. With pride I hear customers commenting on the beauty of the design and craftsmanship in our wine bar, retail shop and sidewalk café. Even my years as a Marine are put to good use.

My ‘formal’ training in the kitchen has come from my many years of informal culinary experiences and my appreciation for using the best ingredients.  I channel my broad, creative food experience to help create and prepare kybecca’s unique, straight-forward recipes that highlight our high-quality products. The most fun I have with kybecca is introducing customers to great food from local producers paired with delicious, under-the-radar wines and craft beers. I get a lot of joy out of chatting with happy people enjoying themselves over an experience I helped make possible. I’m a “people person” by nature and kybecca is a great outlet for me to share my passions.

Several years ago I was fortunate to meet Rebecca whose interests in world travels, creative spirit, keen eye for design and expertise in food and wine were a great match for me. Our journey together and vision for our ideal entrepreneurial adventure opened kybecca’s doors. Our retail store was a success from the start and our wine bar and sidewalk café elevates the uniqueness of the kybecca experience for our customers around the globe.

My motto is that “everyday is a good day.” At kybecca, everyday is full of delicious and unique discoveries and new faces and that’s all very good.
